Stay Safe for the Holidays

As many student plan to return home and staff consider plans to be with extended families this holiday season, the COVID-19 pandemic is worsening across the nation. Small household gatherings are among the riskiest behaviors to contribute to the rise in COVID-19 cases. Medical experts encourage families to be safe by celebrating with only their household members, or gathering virtually or outdoors with loved ones (maintaining six feet distance and wearing masks when not eating).  The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) advises you to take steps to minimize risks before travel and while you are away to keep you and those around you safe.
